Celexa side effects
October 19, 2007 – 7:10 pmUnfortunately side effects of using Celexa can hardly be anticipated. If you feel that you suffer any of side effects or feel that intensity of it is growing report to your doctor immediately. Only your doctor can define if it is safe for you to continue taking Celexa.
If you experience any new or worsening symptoms after taking Celexa such as: mood or behavior changes, anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, or if you feel impulsive, irritable, agitated, hostile, aggressive, restless, hyperactive (mentally or physically), more depressed, or have thoughts about suicide or hurting yourself, you should stop taking medication and immediately apply to doctor.
In case if you have any of these serious side effects you should call your doctor at once:
- seizure (convulsions);
- tremors, shivering, muscle stiffness or twitching;
- problems with balance or coordination; or
- agitation, confusion, sweating, fast heartbeat.
You can continue taking acyclovir but anyway should talk to your doctor if you have any of the following less serious side effects:
- feeling nervous, restless, or unable to sit still;
- drowsiness, dizziness, trouble concentrating;
- sleep problems (insomnia);
- nausea, gas, upset stomach, loss of appetite;
- weight changes;
- urinating more than usual;
- decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm; or
- dry or watery mouth, yawning, or ringing in your ears.
Some other minor side effects can also appear. Consult with your doctor about any of them that bother you.
If any of side effects persist or worsen, notify your health care provider or pharmacist promptly.
